In 2016, when my youngest daughter Julia was 9, she asked me this question: 'Where will you be in 10 years' time, Mum?' and after a few moments of thinking my answer was... 'in 10 years' time I don't want to still be saying... "one day I will do an MA"... ...I want to have actually done it!' Shall I write another book?
In 2015 I spent a good day a week writing, redrafting, refining and creating a book! Inside Music Early Years for The Voices Foundation. And in 2016 it was published and that was pretty exciting - a great moment of pride! So many teachers have used and loved the book and I know that it has contributed to many an under 5's musical education. Oh and it won an award in 2017 too... And now in 2023 I am wondering about writing another book ... I have at least as many songs/rhymes
