Katie regularly prepares bespoke guidance and planning documents for her schools and was delighted to be asked by the Voices Foundation to write the fully revised edition of their handbook for Early Years which was published in 2016.
This book (which won the Early Years Excellence 2017 award for Music from Teach Early Years.) is now widely used across the country by practitioners in Early Years settings and schools.
In 2020, Katie was commissioned to rework, adapt and extend this resource. She worked with colleagues and web designers to create an online searchable song bank which is now available to schools enrolled in Voices Foundation programmes.

Katie is currently working on a new resource for piano students to enliven their scales practice - it incorporates fun/challenging musicianship activities into scales at all grade levels! Watch this space!
Inside Music for Early Years is a brilliantly comprehensive collection of simple tunes with equally simple guidelines to support their use.
